Challenge coins are more than pieces of metal. They represent pride, loyalty, respect, service, achievement and memories. Jeffrey Rabenstein’s work combines the perspective of a Navy veteran, the eye of a graphic designer, the experience of a manufacturer liaison and the problem-solving approach of a web systems developer.

Fueled for flight.
As an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate in the Fuels Department, Jeffrey supplied JP-5 to AV-8 Harriers, H-53 and H-46 helicopters, Marine Cobras, Army aircraft, LCACs and anything else aboard or operating from the ship that required aviation fuel.

Born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania
Jeffrey Alan Rabenstein was born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the Altoona area.
Altoona Area High School
Graduated from Altoona Area High School in Altoona, Pennsylvania. In high school, completed nearly every available art course, took jewelry making twice, and created molds for casting pewter during the second year.
Great Lakes Boot Camp
Entered Navy boot camp at Great Lakes, Illinois, and served on the boot camp Drill Team.
USS Wasp (LHD-1)
Completed an honorable two-year active-duty tour as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate in the Fuels Department, supplying JP-5 to AV-8 Harriers, H-53 and H-46 helicopters, Cobras, Army aircraft, LCACs and other equipment.
Operations Near Kuwait
Operated near Kuwait during overseas service aboard USS Wasp.
Overseas Tour
Liberty stops in France and Spain; travel to or operations around Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Jubail, Abu Dhabi and the wider region. The ship crossed the Equator eleven times in one day near Somalia.
Active-Duty Tour Completed
Completed the two-year Navy tour that was the shortest enlistment being offered at the time.
First in the Field
Became the first student in the graphic design program to work in the field through a junior-year internship at a commercial print house.
Signs and Art Direction
Worked at 21st Century Signs in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and served as an art director at an advertising agency before graduating.
Honorable Discharge
Received the U.S. Navy Honorable Discharge certificate recognizing honest and faithful service.
Bachelor of Science — Graphic Design
Graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design.
New Horizons — Instructor & Web Developer Courses
Worked at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, teaching computers, graphic design programs and other professional software. During this chapter, also completed Web Developer courses and additional software training and certifications.
Returned to Graphic Design
Returned to the professional graphic design industry after two years of teaching.

Founded Coinable.com, combining artwork, quoting, customer service, sourcing and custom coin production.
Pennsylvania to Arizona
Left Altoona, Pennsylvania, for Arizona and later lived in Peoria.
Pinable.com Founded
Founded Pinable.com and expanded into custom pins and related metal products.
Luke AFB — Glendale, Arizona
Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona.
Factory Visit in China
Visited a custom coin factory in China, gaining firsthand production knowledge and establishing direct manufacturing relationships.
Graphic, Inc. Formed
Formed Graphic, Inc. as the business foundation for graphic design, challenge coins, custom pins and metal-product operations.

Acquired eMilitaryCoins.com from Sylvia Olgesby, including the domain, website, brand, customer records, leads, active orders, inventory and related assets.
eMilitaryCoins.com Legacy
eMilitaryCoins.com began in 1998 under Sylvia Olgesby, with her husband John also working in the business. Its original challenge coin sources were in South Korea.
Woodland Park, Colorado
Moved from Peoria, Arizona, to Woodland Park, Colorado.
